La Trobe University Café was created with a simple goal: We all deserve better than vending machine coffee! Just off of the Bundoora Campus, we first opened our doors in 2018 with a single espresso machine, a couple recipes, and a passion for good food.
We opened as a small hidden gem, and have grown over the years into the go to meeting place for between lectures. Today we serve hundreds of coffees a day, along with fresh pastries made each morning, and pride ourselves on treating each customer as a regular.
Our coffee beans are roasted locally by a small Melbourne roaster, and then ground to order. Each and every cup is crafted with the greatest of care to ensure the best possible experience, no matter if you order a classic flat white or a cold brew.
Croissants, muffins, and scones fresh from the oven every weekday. If it's not fresh, we don't serve it.
Free Wi-Fi, power outlets at every seat, and bottomless filter coffee for just $4. We built this space so you can study, catch up with friends, or simply take a break.
Every drink is made to order by our trained baristas. From the perfect pour to the finishing latte art, we take pride in every cup.
